Walk In Art Center First Friday Studio Walk

JOIN US THE FIRST FRIDAY OF EACH MONTH!
What: First Friday Studio Walk
Where: The Walk In Art Center (3rd Floor)
When: 6-9PM

Every first Friday of the month, the Walk In Art Center hosts a studio walk. The First Friday Studio Walk offers the community the opportunity to see everything the Walk In Art Center has to offer them. Everyone is welcome to visit the artists in their studios, see them working on their art, view the gallery exhibits and ask questions about the art.

Visitors can also learn about the history of building that was originally The Walkin Shoe Factory. Display cases featuring pictures of the building years past, sewing machines and stands that were used to make the shoes, shoe forms and other memorabilia is displayed throughout the center.

Our goal is to get the community excited about art and get involved through volunteering, attending classes and workshops, viewing the art exhibitions and participating the many events and programs available at center. Our First Friday Studio Walks occasionally coincide with our Main Gallery Openings, offering the public a fun energy charged experience. Each month is something new, so mark your calendars for this monthly event!

It’s all about sharing the love of art with the community. We want everyone to “love what art can do.”
