The Walk In Art Center is proud to host Nigeria’s Art Ambassador to the United Nations, Ibiyinka Alao.

Ibi is an artist, architect, author, musician and filmmaker. In 2016, his story "Ibi's Fireflies" won the grand-prize of the Scholastic "Kids are Authors" contest. He previously won the first place in the United Nations international art contest, representing his home country of Nigeria out of 61 countries. His artworks have been featured by the Smithsonian Museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Empire State Building, The National Museum of Nigeria, The United Nations Headquarters, The Martin Luther King Center and the World Bank to mention a few.
