The Walk In Art Center’s Main Gallery is transformed into everything weddings during our annual Bridal Fair. This one day event offers brides to be the opportunity to meet wedding vendors face to face, enjoy demonstrations, fashion shows, hair styles, refreshments, give aways and the chance to participate in the popular Diamond Cake Dig sponsored by Sophy’s Jewelers and Momma Millie’s Bakery. They also have the opportunity to see the beautiful Main Gallery a possible venue for the wedding and reception.
Since Pennsylvania winters are long, dreary and cold and ladies need some fun to warm them up, The Walk In Art Center and The Schuylkill County Women’s Business Connection hosts a Ladies Night Out in The Main Gallery. This fun packed afternoon of shopping, pampering, demonstrations, give aways refreshments and art appreciation is the place to be.
Schuylkill, Berks and Carbon Counties are rich in folk art traditions and are now being recognized by leaders in the community and will be celebrated through various workshops, demonstrations and community wide activities that are planned to begin Spring, 2016. The Walk In Art Center will be the venue for the annual kick off festival.

Children are the heart of our Community Summer Art Camps. Since so many schools are removing art and music from their curriculum the Walk In Art Center is here to make sure that art education is available to our community’s children. Every year, we design programs for different age groups to learn, grow, experience and love what art can do. Pre-K through high school students are welcome.
Dogs can create art too and the WIAC’s PawCasso event proves to to everyone that paws no matter how big or how small are full of four footed talent. Everyone is invited to bring their pets to paint in the parking lot of The Walk In Art Center during this event. The proceeds from this doggone good event benefit The Schuylkill County Animal Shelter.
Kick Up Your Heels (KUYH) is The Walk In Art Center’s biggest fundraiser. It’s a night of art appreciation and celebration, silent and live auctions, dancing, music, refreshments and fun. Auction items are generously donated by local businesses and families. Food and refreshments are also donated by local restaurants and establishments.Each year an art related theme is chosen by the KUYH committee and the WIAC studio artists and volunteers donate their time and talent to transform The Main Gallery for the evening. Dress up your little goblins and join us at The Walk In Art Center’s Main Gallery for a spook-tacular Safe Trick or Treat hosted by The Schuylkill County Women’s Business Connection. Vendors, free candy, delicious food and bake sale, kids art activities, music and a bunch of Halloween Fun! Free admission but donations are always welcome.
Periodically, throughout the year, the Walk In Art Center will host a Dinner Club. Enjoy a night of entertainment while enjoying a meal from one of the area’s Five Star establishments. Your tickets are all inclusive – entertainment, dinner and drinks. Great evening for date night, anniversary dinner, birthday dinner, etc. Enjoy it with family and friends or meet new ones. A Dinner Club at the Walk In Art Center is like no other.
The Walk In Art Center joins other area art centers, artists and art enthusiasts in Schuylkill County's Annual Art Tour with our Holiday Market. The Art Tour features special events and open houses throughout the county. Our Holiday Market includes art vendors showing, sharing and selling their art, our First Saturday Open House, activities for the kids, the annual studio artists art exhibition, refreshments and even a visit from Santa Claus. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
