Megan works simultaneously on paintings and drawings. Her paintings are abstract studies of glass objects. She peers into the glass and finds interesting and beautiful places, then magnifies them onto to wooden panels. Her drawings are a series of postcards which journal the trips she has taken and places she hopes to see. While the paintings are abstract and the drawings representational, they’re both rooted in line detail and full color palates. Megan is a native of Schuylkill County, residing in Saint Clair. She studied at Kutztown University, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts with studio concentrations in painting and drawing. She is currently attending Parsons New School of Design working toward her degree in Graphic Design.
